An Office in Your F-150

C|Net’s News.com is reporting that Ford Motor has revealed a mobile office that will become an optional accessory for its’ F-150 line of trucks in 2006.  The mobile suite includes a touch-screen computer, printer, GPS, and Wi-Fi.  Now, if only Honda would release a complimentary addition of the same kind to owners of pre-owned 2002 Honda Accords.  Not bloody likely, is it?  Oh well, a man can dream can’t he?

The Best Picture Viewer Ever

Granted, that’s only my opinion but I wanted something to draw your attention to this wonderful little freeware app: VJPEG.  This from the official site: “The idea here is “images as objects” so once they’re open, you drag them around the screen by clicking and dragging. That’s it. If you push them against the top or left edge of the screen, they “stick” for a while and resize to stay on the screen (that means you get live zooming.)”

It is, most definitely, the best image viewer I have right now for many reasons.  No bulky menus or windows, EASY resize, and convenient keyboard shortcuts.  Sure, I can’t print the image (yet) and there’s no support for PNGs but I’ll continue holding out. 

I’d also like to throw out a big “thank you” to the fine individuals at Download Squad for pointing this one out to me.
